Understand The Patterns. Change The Direction.
A structured 10-week, one-to-one psychosocial programme designed to help you explore your relationship with alcohol or substances and work towards meaningful personal goals.
Live Free gives us time to look beyond the substance itself and explore the behaviours, triggers, beliefs, emotional patterns and circumstances that can sit around it.
The aim is greater awareness, clearer goals and a practical way forward that belongs to you.
10 Weeks
A defined programme that gives us time to explore, reflect and build on what emerges from each session.
One-to-One
Sessions are delivered privately online via Microsoft Teams in a confidential environment.
Reflective Exercises
You will complete reflective work between sessions to support awareness, learning and continued progress.
Substance Use Rarely Exists In A Vacuum
Changing a behaviour can be difficult when we have never had the opportunity to properly understand what surrounds it.
There may be certain situations, emotions, habits, beliefs or triggers that repeatedly influence what happens next.
Live Free creates a structured space to examine those areas, increase your awareness and consider what you want to change.
This is not about judgement.
It is about understanding yourself more clearly and using that understanding to help shape what comes next.
What We Can Explore Together
The programme considers both substance use itself and the wider thoughts, patterns and circumstances surrounding it.
Your Substance Use
Explore your current and previous relationship with alcohol or substances and what you would like to change.
Behaviours & Habits
Look at recurring behaviours and routines and consider the role they play in your wider pattern of use.
Risks & Triggers
Develop greater awareness of situations, environments or experiences that can influence your behaviour.
Values
Explore what genuinely matters to you and whether your present choices reflect the life you want to live.
Emotional Loops
Consider recurring emotional patterns and how they may connect with the choices you make.
Self-Beliefs
Explore the beliefs you hold about yourself and whether they support or restrict the direction you want to take.
Goals
Define what you want to work towards rather than focusing only on what you want to move away from.
Your Action Plan
Bring your learning together into a clearer plan for how you want to continue moving forward.
Reflection
Use structured exercises between sessions to continue thinking, learning and developing your awareness.
Mentoring, Coaching And Lived Understanding
Live Free is predominantly a mentoring programme.
This means I can share relevant experience, knowledge and perspective where that may help you understand something differently or consider another possibility.
The programme also contains coaching conversations, giving you space to reflect on where you are, what you want and whether the actions you are taking are moving you towards your goals.
Alongside my professional experience as a Recovery Practitioner, I bring my own lived experience of recovery from alcohol and substance addiction.
Your experience will not be identical to mine — nor should it be.
My role is to understand your circumstances and work alongside you as you develop your own way forward.
The Programme Is Designed For Adults Who Want To Explore Their Substance Use
Suitability is discussed individually during your Chemistry Call before the programme begins.
You Are Aged 21+
Judy’s programme is designed for adults aged 21 and over.
It can be relevant where you would like structured support in exploring your use of:
- Alcohol, where you are non-dependent
- Cannabis
- Cocaine
- Prescribed medication
- Non-prescribed or over-the-counter medication
- Tobacco
The programme can also consider circumstances where more than one substance is involved.
Live Free Does Not Replace Medical Care
Some circumstances require medical or other specialist professional support rather than — or alongside — this programme.
For example, if you inject substances or your substance use falls outside the areas covered by Live Free, additional professional assistance may be required.
Your circumstances can be discussed during the Chemistry Call so that suitability is considered before you begin.
Structured Enough To Create Direction. Personal Enough To Remain Yours.
Each session is designed to create awareness while keeping your own circumstances and goals at the centre.
Private Sessions
Sessions take place privately via Microsoft Teams, giving you dedicated one-to-one time with Judy.
Focused Conversations
Sessions last approximately 50 minutes and follow the structure of the Live Free programme while remaining focused on you.
Continue The Work
Reflective preparation between sessions gives you an opportunity to consider what you have learned and bring new observations into your next conversation.
You Need Somewhere You Can Speak Honestly
I ask that you join each session from somewhere quiet, private and free from interruptions.
The more openly we can talk about what is happening, the more useful our work together can become.
You are welcome to make notes during sessions and I encourage you to bring questions, thoughts and reflections from your work between sessions.
Sessions will not take place if you are intoxicated or under the influence of alcohol or substances.

The Live Free Programme
Live Free is a complete 10-week structured programme, rather than a collection of unrelated individual sessions.
Across the programme, we work through the areas relevant to your substance use, behaviours, triggers, values, beliefs and goals while developing your plan for moving forward.
You will also complete reflective exercises between sessions to support learning and greater awareness.
£2,000
Structured one-to-one support across ten weeks, including reflective work between sessions.
I understand that paying the full amount upfront may not be possible for everybody.
Payment options can be discussed with me before the programme begins.
Live Free Or Recovery Mentoring?
Both offer one-to-one support, but they serve different purposes.
Live Free
Best suited to somebody who wants a defined 10-week programme exploring substance use, triggers, behaviours, values, beliefs, goals and future actions in depth.
Recovery Mentoring
Better suited to somebody who has already made progress and primarily wants flexible ongoing support, encouragement, accountability and regular check-ins.
Start With A Chemistry Call
The first conversation is an opportunity for both of us to decide whether Live Free is appropriate for you.
Book Your Call
Arrange an introductory Chemistry Call lasting up to 45 minutes.
Talk About Your Circumstances
Tell me what has brought you here, what you would like to change and any additional requirements you may have.
Establish Suitability
We can discuss expectations, answer your questions and establish whether Live Free is the appropriate next step.
Understanding Where You Have Been Can Help You Decide Where You Go Next
You do not need to begin with every answer. Live Free gives you structured time to explore what is happening, develop greater awareness and work towards the goals that matter to you.
Start with a conversation and we can establish whether the programme is right for you.
